Feed is a newborn feeding tracker that helps you log breastfeeding, pumping, and diaper changes. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is stored. In short: your data stays on your device.

Data we collect

We do not collect any of your data. Feed has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics or tracking. The developer never receives, stores, or has access to any information you enter into the app.

Data the app stores on your device

Everything you log is saved locally on your device in a private database. This may include:

• Feeding, pumping, and diaper-change records (times, durations, amounts, notes)
• Optional details you choose to enter, such as expressed-milk amounts
• Your in-app settings, reminders, and preferences

This data is stored only on your device. It is not transmitted to the developer or to any third party.

Sharing your data

Feed only shares data when you choose to. Two features can move data off the device, and both are initiated by you:

• Export & backup. You can export your records as a CSV or JSON file and share or save it wherever you like. Where that file goes is entirely under your control.
• Shift handoff. You can pass your session data to another device — for example, a partner's phone — using an on-screen QR code or a direct device-to-device connection (Bluetooth / Wi-Fi). This is a direct, peer-to-peer transfer between your devices. It does not use the internet, and the data is not sent to the developer or any server.

Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions, only for the features that need them:

• Camera — to scan a handoff QR code.
• Bluetooth / nearby devices / Wi-Fi — for the peer-to-peer shift handoff transfer.
• Notifications — to deliver feeding reminders you schedule.

These permissions are used solely for the stated features and not for data collection.

Children's privacy

Feed is intended for use by parents and caregivers. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Because all data is stored locally, you remain in full control. You can delete individual records inside the app, clear the app's data from your device's system settings, or uninstall the app to remove all stored data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
